The Baltimore Tattoo Museum aims to preserve and educate its visitors to the history of modern electric tattooing as well as the American traditional style of tattoo. You are able to view their collection and get a tattoo as it also has a built-in ink shop. I wanted their brand identity to speak not only on the artistry but the historical and cultural aspects of its mission. I used elements and symbols that are reoccurring themes within American traditional tattoo. The black-eyed susans, a stable symbol of Maryland, sets the cultural institution apart from other tattoo museums.
